A creative offshoot of the long-form video project, THE DIRECTORS SERIES, SHORT CUTS is a new series that aims to identify and analyze key sequences within the filmographies of influential directors. By reverse engineering the construction of classic moments throughout cinema, we hope to uncover resonant insights into the artistry of their creators.
